[Noctis is always able to spot the spiky hair of his advisor, no matter how much he tries to blend into the crowd. He's not sure if that's because he's with him every single day since his earliest childhood or because of the "I am extremely upset right now" aura Ignis is emitting.
There are no other injuries on Noctis except for the palm of his hand. And he raises an eyebrow at the handful of coins.]
Why... do you carry so many coins with you? [Wait, that's not it-] ...I just wanted some skittles.
[He stands and takes few coins and approaches the machine-] I'm fine, nothing to worry about. [Despite the fact that he never saw that much blood, especially his own, ever since the... incident. He's a bit pale.]
[The hand and remainder of coins vanish back into Ignis' pocket.] "My own vending machine stash. Never know when I'm going to need an Ebony. Or get called to duty late at night."
[Damn, that came out harsher than he meant, and Ignis immediately regrets it. He tries to soften the look in his eye.]
"They're fine to let you go?" [A glance back towards the desks, where intake nurses still bustle with work.] "Nobody's making an inquiry?"
[Noctis just hums. He doesn't think it's harsh or anything. Also, it's his own fault that he forgets that Ignis is a coffee addict enthusiast. The treat jingles and slides through the opening and Noct grabs it and drops himself back into the seat.]
Dunno. They didn't check my hand yet.
[He opens the bag with his teeth. Miraculously, the skittles don't go flying.]
They told me to wait. [Shrug.] I suppose that means 'your life is not in danger'.
[The admission startles Ignis, and he re-eyes the bandage job on Noct's hand.] "You did this yourself, then?"
[He settles into the seat next to Noctis and internally stomps on the urge to examine the wound himself. Noctis had gotten it just from a block, probably a glancing slice, bled more than it would actually wound. He's fine.]
[The pause before he speaks again is too long. Thinking too much.] "Then I suppose, we wait."
[Noct would like to see Ignis go without coffee for a day then.]
[He glances at Ignis then back at the mess that his hand is.]
They just kinda shoved this in my hand so I don't bleed everywhere while waiting.
[Though, if he's being honest, if the bleeding stops before the doctors even see him, he's out of here. He leans the bag he opened and pops several skittles in his mouth and then offers Ignis some.]
